**Description**

**The Essential Functions**

* Ensure accurate inventory through weekly cycle counts and full physical inventory counts as directed.

* Direct warehouse receiving and put away functions

* Coach, direct and counsel warehouse workers about overall performance. Define productivity expectations and monitor progress regularly.

* Participate in the recruiting and hiring of warehouse personnel.

* Monitor warehouse loading procedures to ensure quality and prevent losses.

* Direct warehouse replenishment functions.

* Participates in and maintains records of monthly safety meetings.

* Identifies and recommends opportunities for employee development and performance improvement.

* Manage Dunnage / Claims process

* Review Binning of warehouse items: Seasonal, Low Velocity and No Inventory. Make adjustments to ensure maximum productivity.

* Manage supplier BRC Returns process and bill backs through VIP on the WEB and Legacy Systems.

* Assist in managing warehouse shrink through use of Avigilon Camera Management System.

**Other Skills / Competencies**

* Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management and warehouse personnel.

* Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, other business areas and governmental agencies as required

* Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments.

**Physical Requirements**

* Physical demands with activity or condition existing a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (i.e., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or calculator

* Physical demands with activity or condition existing a occasional to rare amount of time amount of time include walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping

* May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling up to 25 lbs.

**Minimum Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent related experience.

* 3 years as Warehouse Worker with alcoholic beverages or wholesale grocery products.

* Previous experience leading, directing and coaching others.

* Valid state motor vehicle operators license.

* Ability to obtain and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with State laws.
